| it's not waterproof. You'll get dust under the cover so be prepared to use your california duster. Mine was under a carport with the cover and still got dust/dirt under it. The crappiest thing with the cover though is that it has a crappy locking system. Good design in that the wire/small chain that you run through it won't scratch the car BUT the hole is smaller than a dime so you can't get a big wire through it. I bought a wire that can easily be cut but bought the hardware to make a loop at the end which keep in mine you'll also have to squeeze through that little hole. I had to use the locking system cause at the time in my condo, I didn't want the cover to be stolen. Good luck but I would look for something else other than the stillen if you're looking for water proof and won't scratch.
